Two recent OSHA investigations expose risks for workers

Recent work injury news in New Jersey has been disturbing, to say the least. While the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) constantly looks out for workers by issuing standards to protect them, many employers don't respect or follow the rules. That leaves employees needlessly exposed to dangerous situations.

New Jersey Workplace Accidents

The New Jersey personal injury attorneys at Breslin and Breslin are saddened to hear this week that a 45-year-old North Bergen man was killed after a car crashed into a construction site on the Garden State Parkway where he was working. According to reports, a Ford Explorer traveling northbound on the Parkway crossed from the middle lane to the right lane where the construction site was assembled, crashing into workers, machinery and a parked vehicle. A second worker is being treated for moderate injuries at the Bayshore Community Hospital. As of this morning, the accident is still under investigation.
