Plaintiff went to his primary care physician, complaining of itching of his skin and a cough. His physician ordered a chest X-ray which indicated a growth in his chest. The X-ray, however, was misinterpreted and the report to the physician was that the film was normal. One year later, has diagnosed with late stage lymphoma.
