Karen Boe Gatlin has been associated with the firm of Breslin and Breslin since 1990. She received her law degree from Pace University School of Law (Cum Laude) and was on the Pace Law Review. Karen obtained a B.A. in English Literature and a B.S. in Nursing before obtaining her law degree and holds New Jersey teaching certificates in both English and science.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked as a registered professional nurse at various hospitals in New Jersey. She also taught both English and Science in New Jersey schools. Karen is a member of the American Bar Association; New Jersey State Bar Association; Bergen County Bar Association; American Association of Nurse Attorneys; Women Lawyers in Bergen County; American Trial Lawyers Association; Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court; and International Nursing Honor Society.

Karen concentrates in the area of medical malpractice.
